If you have voluntarily taken yourself out of a chat, you can rejoin that chat using the procedure below. If you were removed from the chat by someone else, you will need to be re-invited.

From the chat list screen, you need to bring up your settings.

How To Rejoin A Groupme

From the settings screen, you need to bring up your profile. And then click the “Archive” button.

How To Search On Groupme

That will bring up the Archive screen with two tabs, you need to click the “Groups You Left” tab to make it visible.

You should see any chats your removed yourself from. (If the one you are looking for is missing, you will need to ask to be re-invited.)
Click on the chat you want to rejoin
