Tweens and teens are spending more time on the internet these days. In this engaging, interactive session, girls will learn NetSmartz rules regarding online safety. They will discover how posting something inappropriate online can have serious consequences, how to protect their privacy, how to identify and handle unwanted requests from an older teen or adult, and why we all need to work together to stop cyberbullying. This event satisfies parts of the Cadette Netiquette Badge and reinforces points from the GSSUA Internet Safety Pledge.
